I'm Lauren — a physician assistant specializing in neurosurgery by day, and the founder of Northern Virginia Botox and Wellness. I built this practice because I believed there was a better way to offer aesthetics and wellness care: clinically serious, genuinely personal, and open to everyone.

Every treatment I offer is grounded in real medical training and performed under physician supervision. I don't chase trends. I don't oversell. I tell you what you actually need — and sometimes that's nothing at all.

Is neurotoxin just for cosmetic purposes?
Not at all. Neurotoxin has powerful medical applications beyond aesthetics — including treating jaw clenching and TMJ disorder, hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), cervicogenic headaches, neck tension, and bruxism. Many patients come to us for medical reasons and discover cosmetic benefits along the way.
Will I look frozen or fake?
Our goal is always natural results — you should look like yourself, just more refreshed. We use conservative dosing and take time to understand your goals before treating. Looking overdone is never the objective here.
I've never done anything like this before. Is that okay?
Absolutely — we love first-timers. We take extra time with new patients to walk through everything, answer every question, and make sure you feel completely comfortable before we do anything. There's no pressure and no rush.
Who performs the treatments?
All treatments are performed by Lauren, a board-certified Physician Assistant with over 15 years of clinical experience. Every service is performed under physician supervision. You will always know exactly who is treating you and what their qualifications are.
Does insurance cover any of these services?
Most aesthetic services are cash pay. However some medical applications of neurotoxin — such as treatment for hyperhidrosis or documented TMJ disorder — may be partially covered by certain insurance plans. We provide a superbill upon request so you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
Is this practice right for me if I'm not a typical spa person?
This practice was built for you specifically. We serve patients of all backgrounds, ages, ethnicities, and genders. Whether you're a first-timer, a man who's never set foot in a med spa, or someone who has felt unwelcome elsewhere — you belong here.
